Riverdale Temple, founded in 1947, is the only congregation in the Bronx affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism. We are a vibrant, eclectic synagogue founded on the principles of worship, learning, community, and acts of loving kindness — “and the study of Torah leads to them all.” At Riverdale Temple all are welcome to participate in synagogue life, no matter what their approach to Judaism or degree of Jewish literacy. We welcome singles and families, Jewish and interfaith, of all ages, levels of ability, race and sexual orientation.
