The Riverdale Y Repertory Company and Riverdale Temple are proud to collaborate on an upcoming production of The Laramie Project. This award-winning play is a deeply complex portrait of one community’s response to the 1998 brutal murder of Matthew Shepard, a young gay man in Laramie, Wyoming. Through poignant reflections, based on interviews of the residents by members of the Tectonic Theater Project, a moving story emerged. The residents reacted with anger, bewilderment and sorrow; forever impacting people in Laramie and around the world. Our performance dates are Sunday, January 12, 2025 at 3:00pm, and Sunday, January 19, 2025 at 3:00pm and 7:00pm.
