As a group, you can decide whether to work on your own projects, or knit for charity. No experience required. We will teach you!

If you are working on your own project, or are just learning to knit, come join us for coffee/tea and conversation. Our instructor, Rachel Radna, has quite an extensive history with Riverdale Temple, having served as temple president from 2008 to 2016, and shared the presidency with Michael Griffel from 2016 to 2020.

Rachel led classes familiarizing people with reading the Hebrew prayers in our prayer book, as well as teaching Torah and candle-lighting blessings. She brought many programs to the temple, such as Israeli dancing, sending Mishloach Manot to soldiers, Challah Bake, and Karaoke.

Rachel made the arrangements to purchase our current Sukkah and has participated in Purimspiel for the past 20 years.
