Kenneth S. Stern, an attorney and award-winning author, is the director of the Bard Center for the Study of Hate.

About Kenneth Stern: For 25 years, Stern was the American Jewish Committee’s expert on antisemitism. He was the lead drafter of the “Working Definition of Antisemitism.”

Mr. Stern’s op-eds and book reviews have appeared in The New York Times, The Boston Globe, and other major publications. He has appeared on CNN, NBC Nightly News, Dateline, Good Morning America, and elsewhere. He was an invited presenter at the White House Conference on Hate Crimes, has testified before both the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate, and has argued before the U.S. Supreme Court. His most recent book is The Conflict Over The Conflict: The Israel/Palestine Campus Debate.

This lecture series was developed by Riverdale Temple in partnership with the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research.
