Mission
Mission Statement
Our Mission at Riverdale Temple Nursery School, is to create a loving and caring place for children, families, teachers and community. At Riverdale Temple Nursery School children learn kindness, mutual respect, and cooperation.
Our work is to support the social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth of each child. We nurture children’s innate love of learning, awaken their curiosity, and encourage their creativity through our caring, developmentally-appropriate and challenging programs.
When children leave Riverdale Temple Nursery School, we believe they will be independent thinkers and good friends, who will grow up to make the world a better place.

RTNS Tiny Tots Spring 2025 session will begin the week of May 7, 2025 and run through the week of June 18, 2025. The class, Toddler Dance Jam Playtime Hour, will take place on Wednesdays from 9:00am–10:00am. It will be facilitated by Kara Tatelbaum, our amazing movement teacher who has over 25 years of experience in early childhood dance. This class is geared towards children 15 months to 36 months. The cost is $195 for seven classes. Please note, this price is for the Spring 2025 session only. *Please note that any caregiver is welcome to bring their child to this class (i.e. – Mother, Father, Grandparent, Babysitter, etc.). -
