Chavurah

The Chavurah has been an important and longstanding part of Riverdale Temple’s learning community. This lay-led study group is an opportunity for anyone interested in Torah study to meet, to read, discuss, debate, and laugh while learning with your fellow chaverim. The Chavurah usually meets the third Shabbat of the month, following the Saturday morning service and kiddush to read and learn together. Although the topic is usually that week’s parashat, other topics are included, such as festival study and readings from the prophets. The Chavurah is open to all who love Jewish study.
